How Famous (and not so Famous) Women Access The Fountain of Youth

SHARE

Age can be a delicate subject matter.

Except of course when you look half your age!

And believe it or not, it actually happens all the time…women in their 60s and 70s mistaken for women 20-30 years their junior.

NICE.

This idea that women can look far younger than their ‘real’ age is really inspirational.

Here are some of my favorite examples of women who have defied their chronological clock complete with the secret of how they manage to maintain that youthful glow:

1. Jennifer Aniston

Well known for her acting abilities and beauty, Jennifer Aniston has a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to maintaining youthful-looking skin.

Her secret?

For starters, Jennifer attributes her good skin to wearing as little makeup as possible. Equally, she insists on the importance of consistently wearing sunscreen, eating a clean healthy diet and drinking plenty of water.

A little extra note.

Aniston says she tries not to obsess about the foods she eats, but to enjoy everything in moderation. Deprivation doesn’t make for a happy individual–or happy skin either!

2. Cindy Crawford

Supermodel from the 80s, Cindy Crawford has continued to look beautiful through the years;in fact, she barely looks as if she’s aged at all.

How does this 50 something women keep her 20-ish something looks?

Cindy points to eating right, getting enough sleep and drinking enough water.

And happiness. She points out that “true beauty is the energy that you give out, and that comes through being happy.”

Cindy’s right. Beauty isn’t just ‘skin deep’. Staying positive and having a great attitude are definitely part of achieving a youthful glow.

3. Ms. Jay

Now, if you haven’t heard of Ms. Jay, don’t be surprised – she’s just an ordinary women (and mom) who often gets mistaken for her 22-year-old son’s girlfriend!

Why? Because Ms. Jay looks amazing and has seemingly ‘stopped the hands of time’.

Her secret is simple-coconut oil.

She uses it on her hair, her face, her body and even in her coffee.

And she is convinced that her ‘fountain of youth’ comes from generously using that ONE ingredient.

Thus proving, you don’t have to be a celebrity or have thousands of dollars to look terrific.

It all comes down to taking great care of your skin on a regular basis, using brilliant products (LINK TO STORE) and committing to good ‘self-care’ habits.

Here’s to all of us ‘cheating’ the clock and looking far younger than our actual age. 🙂
